May you find peace and comfort in the Lord during this difficult time.  Our prayers are with your family.  The photos are beautiful, its obvious that he deeply loved his family and new bride.

We are so sorry to hear about your loss.  Tim saw Howard on just last Monday and told me he was glowing with happiness.  Just remember to rely on ones who are strong for you to lean on.  Just know that Tim and I are only a heart-beat and a skip away if you ever need anything.

With Deepest Sympathy,

Jennifer and Tim Soccorso

Iris McNeal To the Bandoo Family: October 29, 2008

Please accept my condolences for your loss.  While I did not know your loved one personally, we have all been affected by the grief death causes.

Revelation 21:3-5 promises that soon death will be eliminated.  John 11:28,29 further assures us that we can look forward to seeing our loved ones again.  How we look forward to that day!

I hope these scriptures serve as a comfort to you and your family as they have me.

Chrissy Cymbala Toledo Thank You October 28, 2008

God has used this miraculous story to impact my life in such a powerful way.

I remember driving off to Bible School with Howard and Samantha... Howard said, "Guys, I know that God's hand is on me and that I keep running from Him, but  I want to serve Him with all my heart and that's why I'm going with you to bible school".  In reflecting this past week on the mercy of God in my life, the mercy of God in Howard's life...What can I say but Blessed be the Name of the Lord!  Sister Bandoo, I love you and our family and church here in Chicago are praying for you and the family.  Maggy, I would love to reunite with you...It has been so many years.  Please let me know how I can pray, help and stand with you during this time. (773) 808-4905. God will show Himself mighty and powerful to you... You are an angel!

Howard and Maggy's story has made me want to give my all, like never before to God and His plan for my life - what else matters?

Howard, we want to be where you are.

May God be truly pleased with the happiness that he spread to everyone he came in contact with. My prayers are with you all. And to Howie, I will truly miss you, my friend. God Bless You.

I am praying that god comforts you, "trust in the lord," and always remember the love you shared with Howard and David and trust that their souls are together and their spirits reside with our heavenly father.

Dear Sister Bandoo, It's been so long but the Bandoo family left a stamp at The Brooklyn Tabernacle. We still remember you and how what a devoted mother and woman of God you were and still are today. I remember how every Sunday you made sure your children were in church with you. What a legacy you have planted. We know that soon we will reunite with David and Howard. Our prayers are with you. Love, Michael and Vilma Archibald
Aretha Cross Our deepest condolences October 28, 2008

Sister Bandoo, my Bandoo brothers, sister Sharon, and friend Maggie, words can't express the sadness that I feel at the homegoing of my childhood buddy who remained a faithful friend throughout these years.  He always had a way of making his "sis" feel so very special.  I share in your pain and grief, and also rejoice, because I saw first hand what the Lord has done!  My brother called me and told me that he "ran back to Cross!" and oh, how I rejoiced with him when he called to tell me the great news.  I know that He has started his forever life and he is truly at peace!  No more pain, no more sorrow.  What a day it will be when we all get together again!  Maggie, you truly were Howie's soulmate.  Not only did he turn back to God to find true joy, but God blessed him to find you and experience true love.  He was happier than I have ever seen him.  To Howard's son...you dad was so very proud of you.  He truly loved you with all of his heart.  Just the thought of you brought him so much joy.  Honor your dad's memory by serving and loving God with all of your heart, mind, soul, and strength!

Sister Bandoo and Family:

My heart is full.  I've been praying that the Lord surrounds you, your family and Maggie with comfort during this time.  I pray that he wraps his awesome arms around you and your family.  I knew Howard back during the BT days on Flatbush Avenue.  What comforts me is that after reading about Howard's life, he is basking with the Lord right now.  How awesome is that?

The Bandoo family are in my thoughts each day.

Much love,

Andrea
